if u ignore this lawyer letter, soon u will receive a warrant of arrest to summon u to court.
But what if no money to pay and kena further threaten? I say the poster should take his case to the court of public opinion and see if the Town Council dare hammer him further.

Anybody who have problems paying the conservancy fees, go talk to the Town Council and let them know your difficulties. Usually they will help. Yeah, even in PAP TC they will help you. But of course, they will not waive off the whole thing. If you chock up a few months outstanding, probably they'll let you pay by installment.
Even if you received lawyer's letter, take the lawyer's letter to TC and ask for help. Don't scared pai seh. Don't go there kpkb or f them for sending you lawyer letter because it's your fault for not paying and not telling them first that you have financial difficulties.
