荷蘭金融大型集團「荷蘭國際集團」（ING Group）廿六日表示，為撙節十億歐元（約台幣四百卅億元）開支，公司將在二○○九年間裁員七千人，同時公司執行長陶曼特（Michel Tilmant）已宣布辭職。

荷蘭國際集團總員工數約十三萬人，公司廿六的聲明，並未詳細指出將裁減哪些部門的員工。二○○八年十月，荷蘭政府挹注一百億歐元，協助該公司撐過金融危機。荷蘭國際集團預計，○八年虧損額將達十億歐元。

依市場資本額而言，荷蘭國際集團位居世界前廿大銀行，該公司將動用荷蘭政府提供的國家擔保，來保證銀行的放款組合，也就是總金額達二百七十七億歐元的房貸證券，荷蘭政府將作保八○％。

荷蘭國際集團執行長陶曼特雖宣布辭職，但要到○九年八月一日才生效，此後將擔任荷蘭國際集團的顧問。他的遺缺將由監事長何孟（Ian Hommen）接替；何孟曾擔任飛利浦電子財務長。

荷蘭國際集團表示，今年除裁員以外，總部開支、行銷費用及贊助一級方程式賽車的經費，都將減少。該公司去年十一月財報出現史上第一次季虧損，原因部分係處分在台灣的保險業務所付出的成本，還有結束經營南美洲國家阿根廷的退休年金業務。

THE HAGUE (AFP) – The chief executive of troubled Dutch bank and insurance group ING, Michel Tilmant, has resigned, the company said Monday as it announced it would shed 7,000 jobs worldwide this year.

"ING announced today that in light of the extraordinary developments over the past few months and given his personal condition, Michel Tilmant will step down from the Executive Board as of today," it said.

Tilmant, who will continue to be an advisor to the company until he steps down on August 1, is to be replaced by Jan Hommen, currently chairman of the supervisory board.

The Dutch government injected 10 billion euros (13.3 billion dollars) into ING in October to help it weather the economic crisis.

ING is one of the world's top 20 banks by market capitalisation, with 85 million clients and 130,000 employees.
