Many sinkies are not aware that companies owned by foreigners are also allowed to tender for Govt projects or services. Why are these tenders not reserved exclusively for companies owned by sinkies? If you look carefully, SG is indeed "raped" by foreigners in all spheres of the economy.

Most of the time only certain portion of the entire projects are awarded to foreign owned companies thru tender.
A lot of those big projects were only given back to their own GLCs such as Capitaland, ST group, Keppel Corp, NCS etc.

Over the past decade, Singapore's economy has expanded by a 6.4 percent annual average. Tharman said that he would be happy if Singapore grew 3 percent a year, as long as growth was driven mainly by gains in productivity.
